Amna Fraz

Amna Fraz is a Karachi-based artist and graduate of the National College of Arts. She works with natural pigments made by refining minerals and rocks, using colours drawn from materials like lapis lazuli, cinnabar, and malachite.

Her practice draws from Ajami Art, particularly its use of raised gypsum work, gold leaf, and egg tempera. Through these techniques, she continues traditional methods while shaping them into a contemporary form.
